Hazelight Studios continues to stand out in the gaming industry with its unique approach to cooperative play. Their innovative feature, where only one player needs to purchase the game for two to enjoy it together, remains a distinctive hallmark that sets them apart. While their previous titles were celebrated, they lacked one crucial element: crossplay. This feature, which would have perfectly complemented their co-op focus, was notably absent.

Exciting news for fans: Hazelight's upcoming game, Split Fiction, will indeed support crossplay. The developers have officially confirmed this much-anticipated feature. Moreover, the beloved Friend’s Pass system will return, allowing two players to dive into the game with just one copy purchased, though both will need an EA account to play.

In a move to further engage the community, Hazelight has also announced a demo version of Split Fiction. This demo offers players the chance to experience the game's cooperative mechanics firsthand, and the best part? Any progress made in the demo can be seamlessly transferred to the full game upon purchase.

Split Fiction is poised to take players on a journey through diverse settings, all while emphasizing the depth of human relationships at its core. Mark your calendars: the game is slated for release on March 6 and will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series, promising an immersive co-op experience like no other.
