What’s Happening in This Expansion?

The heart of all Nature magic, Ysera's tranquil realm, faces a dire threat. Players are faced with a choice: defend its pristine beauty or succumb to the chaos. The expansion introduces the new keyword "Imbue," which enhances gameplay for Druids, Hunters, Mages, Paladins, Priests, and Shamans through the blessings of the World Tree.

The first time you play an Imbue card, your Hero Power undergoes a powerful transformation, becoming stronger and tailored to your class. Each subsequent Imbue card played further amplifies your Hero Power. For instance, Hunters gain the Blessing of the Wolf, while other classes not part of the chosen six gain no benefit from Imbue.

On the other hand, if you're drawn to the darker side, the Old Gods offer the corrupting power of "Dark Gifts." This new keyword is available to Death Knights, Demon Hunters, Rogues, Warlocks, and Warriors, offering twisted enhancements that synergize with Discover options. These enhancements allow you to create formidable nightmare-fueled minions. The expansion includes 10 different Dark Gifts, adding depth to the strategic elements of the game.
