Sharp-eyed Helldivers 2 players uncovered a potential leak from PlayStation, hinting at an upcoming battle against the Illuminate on Super Earth’s streets.

This week, Arrowhead unleashed the full Illuminate invasion, introducing new enemy types. The in-game narrative suggested the Illuminate are targeting Super Earth, and a now-deleted post from the official Czech Republic Threads account indicates players will soon defend their home planet in combat.

Redditor xTekshi discovered the deleted post, which mentioned a "Heart of Democracy" update slated for May 20. Although this term appeared in this week’s update notes, neither Sony nor Arrowhead have confirmed a May 20 release.

The timing aligns with the conclusion of the current Major Order, adding credibility to the leak.

The update seems almost certain, with Sony and Arrowhead describing it as unavoidable (“High Command believes this Fleet's ultimate objective to be the invasion of Super Earth itself” and “Battle on Super Earth is inevitable”).

Fans believe the Czech account inadvertently revealed Helldivers 2’s next major update, which could involve fighting on Super Earth. If accurate, this would mark a major shift for the high-octane third-person action game, previously limited to alien planet maps. Defending Super Earth would bring a fresh dynamic to the battlefield.
