Helldivers 2: Patch 01.000.403 Released

Arrowhead Game Studios has released Helldivers 2 patch 01.000.403, primarily addressing a critical crash bug linked to the FAF-14 Spear weapon. This update also incorporates a range of bug fixes designed to enhance the overall player experience.

The cooperative third-person shooter, lauded for its chaotic gameplay, has seen consistent updates since its 2024 release. These updates frequently include balance tweaks, new weaponry, stratagems, and enemies, tackling both gameplay and technical glitches. A previous patch resolved a Spear aiming issue, but inadvertently introduced the now-resolved crash. Patch 01.000.403 also fixes a separate crash occurring during launch cutscenes with unique hellpod patterns. Significantly, this patch introduces global availability of Japanese voice-overs on both PS5 and PC platforms.

Further refinements include resolving text corruption issues (particularly affecting Traditional Chinese), ensuring correct Plasma Punisher functionality with specific Shield Generator Packs, and adjusting Quasar cannon heat management to accurately reflect planetary conditions. Visual glitches, such as the purple Spore Spewer and pink question marks, have also been eliminated. Additionally, the issue of resetting available Operations after reconnection has been rectified.

While numerous fixes are implemented, some known issues remain under active development. These include friend request malfunctions via in-game friend codes, delays in reward payouts, invisible (but active) mines, inconsistent Arc weapon behavior, and inaccurate weapon crosshair alignment. The mission counter resetting in the Career tab and outdated weapon descriptions are also on the list of ongoing problems.

Patch 01.000.403 is now live, delivering these improvements to players.
