Honkai Impact 3rd kicks off the new year with its "In Search of the Sun" update, arriving January 9th. This update brings a wealth of new content, including a brand-new battlesuit for Durandal and an expansion of the main storyline.

The star of the show is Durandal's new IMG-type Physical DMG battlesuit, Reign Solaris. This iteration presents Durandal as a more agile fighter, utilizing two distinct modes: Rampager for powerful charged attacks and Skyrider for swift battlefield maneuvers. Acquire her signature weapons, Valorous Effulgence and its PRI-ARM upgrade, Valorous Effulgence: New Voyage, to maximize her potential.

The narrative continues in "Bouquets of Unfulfilled Wishes," reuniting the Dreamseeker and her companion in the Mars system as they delve deeper into the Ten Shus war. Expect thrilling action, emotional moments, and a new puzzle minigame, "On-Duty Work Guide," where you strategically move Cube-ianka across a 3D grid.

Beyond the main story, players can earn up to 60,000,000 Crystals by completing main story chapters (from a shared pool – so act fast!). The featured event, "Countdown: To Sweet Dreams," offers a more relaxed experience, featuring familiar characters like Mei, Theresa, and Fu Hua, a unique boss encounter, and a monster-trainer-style battle system.
