Honkai Impact 3rd v8.1 Update 'Drumming in New Resolutions' Released

Get ready, Honkai Impact 3rd fans! The much-anticipated v8.1 update, titled "Drumming in New Resolutions," is set to launch on February 20th, and it's packed with exciting new content. From fresh battlesuits to stunning outfits and generous anniversary rewards, there's plenty to look forward to.

What’s New in the Update?

Kiana returns with a bang in her new SD-type battlesuit, Ba-Dum! Fiery Wishing Star. This fiery new addition to the roster wields a long staff, unleashing a 4-sequence attack that delivers Fire DMG and accumulates Passion Marks for impressive AOE damage. Her recommended weapon and PRI-ARM enhance her fiery prowess, ensuring that enemies feel the heat. Meanwhile, Herrscher of Human: Ego is equipped with new gear, including a recommended Divine Key, PRI-ARM, and a stigmata set tailored for maximum impact.

On the narrative front, v8.1 deepens our understanding of Leylah. Following the Spring Festival dream crisis in v8.0, Kiana reenters the real world, teaming up with Rice Cake and embarking on a new mission assigned by Theresa. Their destination? The Moon Base for a festive celebration. As you play through this interlude, you'll have the chance to collect Crystals, Source Prisms, and a variety of other goodies.

There's also a fun board feature where you can activate and collect Yearly Chibis to strengthen your team. Don't forget to accumulate shop tokens, which you can exchange for Crystals, Coralie's new outfit, and a plethora of other rewards.

New Outfits and More

In addition to Kiana's new battlesuit, other characters are getting stylish updates. Coralie, Luna, and Vita are all receiving new looks. Luna's outfit is available through spend bonuses, while Vita's new ensemble can be found in the Outfit Supply.

Anniversary Rewards Galore

The anniversary celebrations bring a host of rewards. Simply logging in daily for seven days after the update will net you a Prism Stigma Direct Level-Up Coupon, an anniversary emblem, and more. Keep your login streak going for another seven days, and you'll unlock Kiana’s Stigma Option, Herrscher of Human’s new Stigma Option, and 10 Equipment Supply Cards.

Between February 25th and March 4th, daily logins will reward you with an S-rank Battlesuit Option, Battlesuit Supply Cards, Crystals, and other goodies. As a special thank-you, everyone will receive five Battlesuit Supply Cards upon the update's release.
