The Lion King ride, destined for Disneyland Paris, has unveiled exciting new images, detailed insights, and a construction start date set for Fall 2025. According to Disney Parks Blog, this groundbreaking land and attraction inspired by The Lion King will become a major highlight of the revamped Walt Disney Studios Park, now to be known as Disney Adventure World. This new water ride promises to immerse guests in the iconic scenes of the 1994 classic film, complemented by a towering 120-foot-high Pride Rock and an array of dining options, shopping experiences, character meet-and-greets, and much more.

A recently released concept image showcases Audio-Animatronics of young Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa enjoying a meal in a lush jungle environment, which is just one segment of the ride. Thrill-seekers can anticipate a dramatic 52-foot drop, surpassing Tiana's Bayou Adventure by two inches. While an exact opening date remains under wraps, the ride is slated to launch following the grand debut of World of Frozen in 2026, contributing to the expansive transformation of Disney Adventure World, which will double the current park's size.

In addition to The Lion King ride, Disney Adventure World will introduce other exciting attractions such as the Raiponce Tangled Spin ride, featuring Mandy Moore reprising her role as Rapunzel, and the first-ever attraction themed around Up, offering a unique "spinning carousel" experience with panoramic views of the park's breathtaking landscapes.
