Infinity Nikki Delays V1.6 Launch Amid Community Outcry

Following weeks of anticipation and player inquiries, the development team behind Infinity Nikki has finally addressed concerns surrounding the game’s tumultuous Version 1.5 launch. Acknowledging feedback, the team admitted that the update was rushed and lacked polish. As a result, they’ve decided to push back the highly anticipated Version 1.6 rollout.

When Will Version 1.6 Release?

Originally scheduled for June 4th, Version 1.6 has been rescheduled for June 12th. In the meantime, several ongoing events and features will remain active until the update goes live. These include popular activities such as Chase the Bubbles, Rainbow Album, and Where Are the Gifties?. Additionally, stores like Pear-Pal Selected/Store: Clothing, Heartfelt Gifts, and the Shake Up Bubble Jar! top-up event will stay open until the update drops. Weekly events like Starlit Pursuit, initially planned for May 20th, will now commence with Version 1.6.

In light of these changes, the developers have issued an apology and emphasized their efforts to address performance issues across various platforms, including PlayStation. They assure players that storylines like Threads of Reunion are intact but temporarily delayed.

Beyond the Version 1.6 Delay, What’s Happening in Infinity Nikki?

Recently, players have encountered numerous bugs, quest malfunctions, and co-op issues. To mitigate frustration, the team is offering compensation in the form of 120 Diamonds and 1 Crystal per day from June 5th to June 12th. However, players must log in daily to claim these rewards.

Some gamers view this gesture as a bid to recover engagement following the Version 1.5 mishaps. Many are disappointed that promotional content, such as new outfit banners, began circulating almost immediately after the apology, raising concerns about the team’s priorities.
