Invincible: The Most Important New Characters to Expect in Season 3

Author:Kristen Update:Mar 26,2025

As Invincible: Season 3 approaches, Prime Video has unveiled an exciting new lineup of voice actors set to join the series. Among them are Aaron Paul as Powerplex, John DiMaggio as The Elephant, and Simu Liu as Dupli-Kate's brother, Multi-Paul. However, the most intriguing additions are Jonathan Banks and Doug Bradley, whose roles remain a mystery, hinting at significant plot developments in the upcoming season. Additionally, the rapid aging of Christian Convery's character, Oliver, raises questions about his role as Invincible's new sidekick. Here's a closer look at these key new characters we anticipate seeing in Season 3.

Warning: Some basic plot spoilers for the Invincible comic ahead!

Jonathan Banks as Conquest

Jonathan Banks, renowned for his role in Breaking Bad, joins the cast of Invincible: Season 3, though Prime Video has kept his character under wraps. Given Banks' talent for portraying tough, seasoned characters, it's highly likely he will voice Conquest, a formidable Viltrumite villain introduced in Invincible #61. Conquest is known for his strength and battle scars, arriving on Earth with an ultimatum from the Viltrumite Empire: Mark Grayson must conquer his homeworld, or Conquest will do it himself, leading to a brutal showdown. Season 2 set the stage for this confrontation, and Season 3 promises to escalate the tension as Mark faces this daunting challenge.

Who Is Doug Bradley Playing in Invincible Season 3?

Doug Bradley, famous for his portrayal of Pinhead in the Hellraiser series, is another mysterious addition to the cast. While his character is not yet revealed, speculation points towards two major villains from the comic series: Dinosaurus or Grand Regent Thragg. Dinosaurus, who appears in Invincible #68, aims to save the planet by eliminating human-induced environmental damage, targeting places like Las Vegas. Bradley's distinctive voice could add depth to this character. Alternatively, he could be voicing Thragg, the ruler of the Viltrumite Empire, introduced in Invincible #11. Thragg's immense power and combat skills make him a pivotal antagonist, and Bradley's menacing presence would be a perfect fit.

Christian Convery’s Oliver Grayson

Season 2 introduced Mark's younger half-brother, Oliver, born to Nolan on Thraxa. Oliver's unique heritage as half-Thraxan and half-Viltrumite results in accelerated aging, a crucial plot point for Season 3. By this season, Oliver will have matured from a toddler to a preteen, with Christian Convery stepping into the role. His rapid development means he's already showcasing his powers, including flight and superhuman strength, much earlier than Mark did. As Kid Omni-Man, Oliver will join Invincible in battles, adding a new dynamic to the series as Mark grapples with his responsibilities and the potential dangers his actions pose to his family.
