inZOI requires higher system specifications to run smoothly, as Krafton has unveiled the game's system requirements and optimal settings. Dive into the details to understand more about inZOI’s system requirements and the distinctions between each hardware tier.
Krafton, the developer behind inZOI, has disclosed that the game demands robust system specs for players to enjoy the best experience. On March 12, 2025, they published the system requirements and optimal settings for inZOI on their website, categorizing them into four tiers: Minimum, Medium, Recommended, and High, along with the optimal settings for each.
At the minimum level, inZOI requires an NVIDIA RTX 2060 or an AMD Radeon RX5600 for graphics, paired with a CPU like an Intel i5 or AMD Ryzen 5. This represents a significant step up from EA's Sims 4 PC requirements, which only necessitate an NVIDIA GeForce 6600 or higher. Krafton justified this by stating, "inZOI delivers high-quality graphics and realistic city-level simulations, which require higher system specifications to run smoothly."
For those aiming for recommended settings, the game calls for an NVIDIA RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 for graphics, and a CPU of Intel i7 or AMD Ryzen 7. At the highest settings, players need a graphics card like the NVIDIA RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900, and a CPU such as the Intel i7 14700K or AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D.
This aligns with the visual fidelity showcased in inZOI's trailers, which leverage the power of Unreal Engine 5. Although developers have hinted at a PS5 and Xbox release on inZOI's official Discord, the game's demanding specs suggest that further optimization will be needed for console play.
Krafton has also released a video comparing the graphics across the different system specs. The video highlights variations in lighting, textures, and color quality, with the highest PC specs delivering the most visually stunning experience.
Despite these options, inZOI's high entry-level specs might limit its initial player base compared to competitors like Sims 4. However, Krafton remains optimistic, stating, "While these requirements ensure the best possible gameplay experience, we remain committed to making inZOI accessible to more players." They plan to introduce a feature that automatically adjusts game settings for optimal performance and continue working on optimizations to enhance performance while exploring ways to reduce system requirements without sacrificing quality.
inZOI is set to have a live stream showcase on March 19, 2025, at 01:00 UTC on its official YouTube and Twitch channels. This event will provide more insights into early access pricing, DLCs, the developmental roadmap, and answer fan queries.
inZOI will enter early access on Steam on March 28 and will also be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. As of now, the date for its full release remains undisclosed. Stay updated with the latest on inZOI by checking our dedicated inZOI page.
