In an intriguing development for fans of the Jurassic franchise, David Koepp, the screenwriter behind the iconic 1993 Jurassic Park and the upcoming Jurassic World Rebirth, has revealed that he drew inspiration from Michael Crichton's original novels for the new film. Speaking to Variety, Koepp explained that, with no new novel to adapt for Jurassic World Rebirth, he turned back to Crichton's works to reignite his creative spark.

Koepp disclosed that he incorporated a specific sequence from the first Jurassic Park novel that was initially omitted from the 1993 film due to space constraints. He expressed excitement about finally being able to include this scene, stating, "There was a sequence from the first novel that we’d always wanted in the original movie, but didn’t have room for. We were like, ‘Hey, we get to use that now.’"

While Koepp kept the details of this sequence under wraps, the revelation has sparked widespread speculation among fans. Various scenes from the novel are being considered as potential candidates for this long-awaited inclusion.
