KEMCO Launches Metro Quester: A New Mobile RPG with Hack & Slash Dungeon Exploration

Metro Quester – Hack & Slash has just launched on Android, bringing a fresh twist to the traditional KEMCO JRPG formula. This game dives deep into the gritty, old-school dungeon crawler genre while maintaining its roots as a turn-based JRPG.

Seek the Truth of a Lost World

In Metro Quester – Hack & Slash, you lead a crew of scavengers on a perilous journey underground. Your mission? To gather enough resources to meet a weekly food quota of 100, which is essential for survival every seven in-game days. You'll explore monster-filled ruins in areas like Otemachi and Ginza, scavenging for leftovers to keep your team alive.

Survival is key, and you can't level up until you return to a safe camp—assuming you make it back in one piece. With 24 unique characters to choose from, each belonging to one of eight classes, you have the freedom to customize your team's combo skills, weapons, and strategies to fit your playstyle.

Combat is strategic, with each ability costing action points. You're limited to five points per turn and can only use each ability once per round, making every decision crucial. As you explore the dungeon, it unfolds before you, revealing hidden food supplies, monster nests, keys to new areas, and potential campsites where you can establish a new base.

Metro Quester – Hack & Slash Is Now Out on Android

The game's aesthetic is deliberately minimalistic, with a bleak, colorless environment that starkly contrasts with your vibrant team. For a closer look at the game's atmosphere and gameplay, check out the official trailer below.

For those who crave more after completing the main story, Metro Quester – Hack & Slash offers a NEW GAME+ mode with increased difficulty, perfect for those who enjoy replaying with tougher challenges.

You can download Metro Quester – Hack & Slash now from the Google Play Store for $14.99. Note that the game does not support controllers and is available in English and Japanese only.
