One More Level, Creators of Ghostrunner, Reveal Image of Their New Game

One More Level, renowned for the critically acclaimed Ghostrunner series, has unveiled a new project: Cyber Slash. This action title, a departure from the cyberpunk setting of Ghostrunner, transports players to an alternate, dark reimagining of the Napoleonic era in the first half of the 19th century.

Ghostrunner, known for its demanding gameplay requiring precise timing and skillful maneuvers, achieved impressive scores (81% and 79% for the first installment, 80% and 76% for the sequel). While One More Level is also developing Project Swift (slated for a 2028 release), the newly revealed artwork strongly suggests a focus on Cyber Slash.

Cyber Slash promises a challenging and action-packed experience, diverging from the traditional Souls-like formula. While parrying and exploiting enemy weaknesses remain core mechanics, the protagonist's abilities will evolve through a unique mutation system throughout the game. Expect epic battles against legendary heroes and terrifying, unknown forces in this thrilling historical fantasy.
