Revealed during Sony's State of Play 2025, Lies of P: Overture launches Summer 2025 on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms. A gameplay trailer showcasing the expansion is available below.

Building upon the critically acclaimed, Bloodborne-esque action RPG, Lies of P (IGN rating: 8/10), Overture delves into the origins of the Puppet Frenzy. The prequel offers a fresh perspective on the Pinocchio tale, introducing new environments, formidable bosses, and a mysterious guide, the Legendary Stalker.

Lies of P: Overture serves as a dramatic prequel, transporting players to Krat, a city brimming with late 19th-century Belle Époque charm, moments before the devastating Puppet Frenzy. Players assume the role of Geppetto's puppet, guided by the enigmatic Legendary Stalker, to unravel untold stories and chilling secrets. Choices made within Overture will impact the events of the main game, revealing hidden truths and shaping the fate of Krat.

Round8 Studio's game director, Jiwon Choi, expressed excitement about expanding the Lies of P universe, stating that Overture allows them to fully explore the past and present.

Neowiz, the publisher, previously hinted at the DLC and confirmed plans for a sequel. The original Lies of P achieved remarkable success, selling over one million copies within a month of its September 18, 2023 release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC (Steam), and Mac (Mac App Store).
