Together We Live Is a New Visual Novel with a Deep Story About Humanity’s Sins

Kemco's new visual novel, Together We Live, offers a poignant post-apocalyptic narrative exploring themes of atonement and humanity's failings. Already available on Steam, this Android exclusive delves into a compelling story.

A Journey of Atonement

The game follows Kyoya, who awakens in a dimly lit room in the year 4000, two millennia removed from his last memory. He finds himself in a desolate world, guided by a mysterious girl burdened by a heavy task.

This girl is trapped in a cycle of repeated death and rebirth, endlessly atoning for humanity's sins. Her plight is both brutal and deeply moving, inspiring Kyoya to introduce her to the concept of happiness.

The narrative's pacing may initially feel slow, but the deliberate build-up pays off. Subtle details and seemingly insignificant events later become crucial plot points, creating a captivating and surprising experience.

A Thought-Provoking Experience

Unlike many visual novels, Together We Live eschews player choices, presenting a linear but engaging story. The art style is simple yet charming, effectively conveying the story's blend of beauty and sorrow.

The game features full voice acting for the female protagonist, adding to the emotional impact. Currently available in English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese, the game lacks controller support. It's priced at $9.99 on the Google Play Store, or free with a Play Pass subscription.
