Mutt's Location:

Mutt is nestled near a wolf cave southwest of the Nomads' Camp, just east of the river's bathing spot. The image below pinpoints his exact location.

The easiest route involves fast traveling to the Nomads' Camp. From there, follow the path southwest into the forest; this will lead you directly to the cave. You'll hear Mutt's whimpers as you approach.

A cutscene will trigger upon discovering Mutt surrounded by wolves. This also initiates a tutorial on commanding Mutt in combat. You can choose to engage the wolves or flee. While combat is manageable, fighting them offers a chance to gain experience.

After the wolf encounter, Mutt will be under your control. Hold L1 (or the equivalent button on your platform) while facing him to interact, offering food or sending him home.

Finding Mutt During "The Invaders" Quest:
