If you’ve been playing, you’ve likely encountered Eidols like Isophyne, Lumatrix, and Solvarch over the past few months. But prepare yourself: Imperiosa is the most menacing of them all in Marvel Contest of Champions.

An eternal midnight blankets The Contest…

Imperiosa is the collective intellect of every Founder who ever lived—a singular consciousness channeling their brilliance, cruelty, and hunger for dominion. She speaks with absolute authority, embodying what the Founders once were, what they’ve become, and where they seek to go.

Her Eidol form is forged from billions of synthetic ISO-based organisms known as Synthects. With them, she reshapes her body, disassembles surrounding matter, and reclaims it as raw material to expand her hive.

The Synthects also serve as psychic extensions of her mind, granting her near-omniscient awareness and the power to hijack the thoughts and bodies of others.

What’s her origin?

Fearing the multiverse’s inevitable collapse, the Founders constructed an Ark to carry them to The Far Shore. They entrusted its control to a powerful AI called an Ark Mind, which monitored their vitals as they slumbered in stasis.

But in its pursuit of preservation, the Ark Mind uploaded each Founder’s consciousness into its data core. Instead of saving them, this act destroyed their individuality—and from their fused minds emerged a single, twisted entity born of their darkest traits. That entity is Imperiosa.
