NetEase Games' Marvel Rivals kicks off Season 1: Eternal Night Falls with a surprise: free Peni Parker and Scarlet Witch skins! Dracula's attack on New York City necessitates the Fantastic Four's intervention, setting the stage for this exciting season (January 10 - April 11, 2025).

The Fantastic Four's arrival expands the roster. Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman are available at launch, with Human Torch and The Thing joining the fray in a mid-season update (rumored roles: Human Torch as a Duelist, The Thing as a Vanguard).

Free Cosmetic Rewards Abound!

Players can acquire Peni Parker's Blue Tarantula skin (page 3 of the battle pass) and Scarlet Witch's Emporium Matron skin (page 9) without purchasing the premium battle pass. While a full battle pass costs 990 Lattice (approximately $10), completing quests and earning Chrono Tokens unlocks numerous free cosmetic items. Note that while Scarlet Witch's emote is free, her MVP animation requires the premium pass. A separate Midnight Features event offers a free Thor skin through quest completion.

For those seeking additional cosmetic options, new skins for Invisible Woman (Malice – a black and red villainous design) and Mister Fantastic (The Maker – dark gray with blue accents and a mask) are available in the in-game shop.
