Marvel Snap goes back to the stone age with its latest season, Prehistoric Avengers

Author:Kristen Update:Mar 15,2025

Marvel Snap's newest season, Prehistoric Avengers, is here, bringing with it prehistoric versions of the Avengers, including the first Sorcerer Supreme, Agamotto, the original Phoenix host Firehair, and more! This exciting season introduces a new card type: Skills. These cards represent actions and abilities, are banished after use (permanently removed from play), have no power, but cost less energy.

Ever wondered about the Avengers' origins, Odin's past, or the enigmatic Agamotto? Prehistoric Avengers answers these questions and more! While these prehistoric heroes have appeared before, they're now playable cards, featuring the first Black Panther, Firehair, Agamotto, and even Khonshu, each with unique and powerful abilities.

Agamotto's arrival marks the introduction of "Skills," a new card type representing actions rather than characters. Upon playing, Skills are banished, possessing no power but lower energy costs.

Two new locations add strategic depth: the Star Brand crater grants extra energy to the player with the highest power there, while the Celestial Burial Ground lets you discard a card and replace it with another of the same cost. New Spotlight Caches offer top-tier cards, both old and new, alongside variant card art. High Voltage mode returns, electrifying the pace of your matches.
