Are you ready to ascend to the title of Sorcerer Supreme? Marvel Snap's latest limited-time mode, Sanctum Showdown, is now live and will be available for the next two weeks, until March 11th. This exciting event introduces a unique competition format with a fresh win condition, a special Sanctum location, and innovative snapping mechanics.
In the Sanctum Showdown mode, the race is on to reach 16 points before your opponent. Unlike the standard game, you don't play until turn six; the game ends as soon as one player hits that magic number. The Sanctum location is pivotal, as it awards the highest number of points each turn. Snapping takes on a new dimension here, allowing you to snap once per turn starting from turn three, which boosts the Sanctum's value by one point and keeps the game's momentum in constant flux.
To join the fray, you'll need one Scroll per match, but victory rewards you with another, ensuring you can keep the battles coming. You begin with 12 Scrolls and gain two more every eight hours. Should you run out, you can replenish your supply by spending 40 Gold. Regardless of the match's outcome, every game contributes to your Sorcerer Rank and earns you Charms, which you can redeem at the Sanctum Shop for exclusive cosmetics or new cards.
Thinking of using Captain Marvel or Dracula to sway the game in your favor? Think again. Certain cards and locations are banned in Sanctum Showdown to maintain fairness. Abilities that affect the final outcome won't function, and cards like Debrii have been excluded to avoid unbalanced strategies. To craft the ideal deck for this challenge, check out our *Marvel Snap tier list*!
If you're eyeing cards such as Laufey, Gorgon, and Uncle Ben, Sanctum Showdown is your golden opportunity to acquire them before they become available in the Token Shop on March 13th. Utilize Portal Pulls for a chance to unlock these cards for free, along with up to four Series 4 or 5 cards.
Don't miss your chance to engage in the Sanctum Showdown mode in Marvel Snap, available until March 11th. For more details, be sure to visit the official website.
