Marvel's Contest Unveils Original Heroine: Isophyne

Kabam introduces Isophyne, a brand-new original character, to Marvel Contest of Champions. Her design evokes the film Avatar, incorporating copper-toned metallic accents.

Isophyne's Unique Abilities in Marvel Contest of Champions

Isophyne enters the arena with a unique fighting style. Unlike other champions who build power for special moves, Isophyne utilizes a "Fractured Powerbar" mechanic, allowing for flexible combinations of her special attacks. She can chain multiple Special 1s, for instance, creating unpredictable combat strategies.

Isophyne's backstory connects her to the Founders, a mysterious group within the game's lore, whose story will unfold in 2025.

Marvel Contest of Champions' 10th Anniversary Celebrations

This release coincides with Marvel Contest of Champions' 10th anniversary. Kabam is unveiling a series of surprises throughout the remainder of 2024 and into 2025. Recent additions include Glorious Guardian Reworks, Alliance Super Season, and 60 FPS gameplay. Four more surprises are planned for November.
