Assassin's Creed Mirage offers a revamped progression system. While skill unlocking heavily relies on Knowledge Ranks (explained later), traditional XP-based progression remains. Gaining XP unlocks higher-tier weapons, armor, and gear, enhancing Naoe and Yasuke's base stats.

Reaching Level 35 allows exploration of all Japanese provinces. However, the XP grind extends far beyond. While initially believed capped at 40, players can reach Level 60. This cap may increase further post-launch with the Claws of Awaji expansion.
