Konami's developers have shared updates on the Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater remake, targeting a 2025 release. Producer Noriaki Okamura emphasized a commitment to delivering a high-quality product that meets fan expectations, stating in a 4Gamer interview, "We are putting a lot of effort into finishing Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater by 2025." While the game is reportedly playable from start to finish, the team is now focused on refining details and enhancing overall quality.
Previous speculation suggested a 2024 release, but the remake is now confirmed for next year, launching on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The developers aim to retain the essence of the original while integrating modern gameplay mechanics and enhanced visuals. Okamura also hinted at new features designed to improve the overall gaming experience.
Konami unveiled a captivating two-minute trailer in late September, showcasing key scenes including the protagonist, antagonists, an airdrop sequence, and intense firefights.
