Metal Slug: Awakening Pre-Registration Now Live

Get ready for a blast from the past! HaoPlay Limited's upcoming title, Metal Slug: Awakening, is bringing the classic arcade experience to mobile devices. Launching globally on July 18th, 2024, pre-registration is now open.

A Modern Twist on a Retro Classic

Metal Slug: Awakening reimagines the iconic 90s run-and-gun series. Initially revealed in 2020 by TiMi Studios as Metal Slug Code: J, the game has undergone several refinements and name changes before its Southeast Asian release in late 2023. Now, it's finally ready for a worldwide launch.

For those unfamiliar with the franchise, Metal Slug is a celebrated Japanese run-and-gun series, debuting in 1996 and developed by Nazca Corporation. It has since expanded into a multimedia phenomenon.

While previous mobile entries like Metal Slug Defense, Metal Slug Attack, and Metal Slug Commander existed, Awakening promises enhanced features and gameplay.

Classic Gameplay with Modern Enhancements

The game stays true to the original's core shooter mechanics while boasting updated visuals and new gameplay elements. Rejoin your favorite Metal Slug characters for fresh adventures. Game modes include a World Adventure mode, 3-player cooperative Team-up mode, and challenging Roguelike scenarios.
