NetherRealm and WB Games have exciting news for Mortal Kombat 1 fans: the official gameplay trailer for T-1000 has been unveiled, and this iconic character will be joining the roster next Tuesday. T-1000 brings a unique twist to the game with his ability to transform into liquid metal, allowing him to creatively dodge projectiles. This feature is sure to make him a fan favorite, especially among those who enjoyed playing as Kabal in previous titles. Although Kabal isn't featured in Mortal Kombat 1, some of his signature weapons and moves have been incorporated into the game, adding a nostalgic touch for long-time players.

The trailer also pays homage to the legendary film Terminator 2: Judgment Day with several notable references. One such reference is the recreation of the iconic scene where T-1000 wags his finger—a gesture that, interestingly, is banned in the NBA for being unsportsmanlike conduct. Another nod to the film includes T-1000 asking Johnny Cage if he has seen John Connor, further immersing players in the Terminator universe.

Alongside T-1000, the trailer introduced Madam Bo, who will also be added to the game. In a thrilling showcase of his abilities, T-1000's Fatality demonstrates his liquid metal transformation, allowing him to change his appearance and efficiently eliminate his victim, true to his mission-driven nature.

No further announcements were made by WB Games, but rumors are circulating that this could be the final wave of new content for Mortal Kombat 1. Speculation suggests that a new game announcement might be on the horizon, though no official confirmation has been provided yet.
