Monster Hunter Now's Season 5: The Blossoming Blade is almost here! Niantic has unveiled all the exciting details for the upcoming season, launching March 6th, 2025. Expect new challenges, monsters, weapons, and a revamped Season Pass.

Pre-Season Sneak Peek:

Before the main event, get ready for the arrival of the Chatacabra on February 28th! This marks its debut before its appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. Season 5 will also introduce Glavenus and Arzuros to the hunt.

Weapon Enhancements:

Expect balance adjustments to enhance the viability and enjoyment of all weapon types. The Sword & Shield receives a buff, improving tail-breaking efficiency. The Perfect Rush Combo (SP) will reward precise timing with amplified power and more satisfying combos. The Guard skill also gets a significant upgrade, with higher skill levels now noticeably reducing damage taken while blocking. Further details on these and other tweaks will be revealed in the full patch notes on March 6th.

Tired of a perpetually full inventory? Season 5 introduces an Item Box Expansion as a Supply Item, providing an additional 250 inventory slots!

Celebrating Monster Hunter Now's 1.5-Year Anniversary on March 17th, a new material trading system will launch. Hunters can exchange special materials earned from hunts and events for valuable rewards such as Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards.
