What Does the Tethering Feature Bring to MythWalker?

Tethering introduces a cooperative gameplay system to MythWalker, enabling up to three players to team up for story quests, battle formidable foes, and collect valuable resources together. This feature breaks the traditional boundaries of geolocation gaming by allowing players to synchronously explore the enchanting landscapes of Mytherra, even if they are continents apart. For instance, a player in Tokyo can join forces with friends in New York and London to explore the same map in real-time, enhancing the social aspect of the game and expanding the possibilities of play.

Alongside the cooperative gameplay, the update introduces a new adversary, the Wyldevae. These enchanting yet deceptive fairy-like creatures add a new layer of challenge and intrigue to MythWalker. The Wyldevae come in three distinct varieties, each inhabiting different regions of Mytherra: the Bergavae, resembling moths and found in the mountains; the Strandavae, fish-like creatures dwelling on islands; and the dragonfly-inspired Fennavae, lurking in swampy areas. Each type offers unique drops and abilities, encouraging players to hunt them all. Additionally, new quests centered around these creatures delve deeper into their origins and the reasons behind their sudden emergence in Mytherra.
