Announced at GDC 2025, this game follows in the footsteps of Spry Fox’s beloved titles like Cozy Grove and Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit. Fans can anticipate the same enchanting pastel visuals, soothing soundscapes, and a strong emphasis on fostering connections rather than competition.

In Spirit Crossing, players will have the opportunity to explore a vast world, build and decorate homes, and cultivate a thriving village alongside others. Activities include gathering resources, riding fluffy creatures, joining dance parties, and simply enjoying the company of friends. The game's visual style draws inspiration from Studio Ghibli, French comics, and even modern art like Corporate Memphis, aiming to create a timeless and welcoming atmosphere where players can settle in for the long haul.

A unique feature of Spirit Crossing is its in-game calendar system, which influences the game's progression. For instance, trees you plant will take three to six real-world months to mature into a harvestable orchard, echoing the slow-paced, long-term design philosophy Spry Fox explored in Cozy Grove. The game also prioritizes meaningful connections, a core element of Spry Fox’s design ethos. Studio co-founder David Edery has expressed his vision for Spirit Crossing to be a space that transforms strangers into friends.
