Koei Tecmo thrilled the audience by announcing Ninja Gaiden 4, slated for release in the fall of 2025. The debut trailer promises an action-packed experience, with the iconic ninja Ryu Hayabusa returning as the protagonist. The game introduces innovative mechanics to the series, including the ability to swiftly navigate through the environment using wires and rails, as demonstrated in the gameplay footage.

Set in a cyberpunk city drenched in toxic rain, Ninja Gaiden 4 challenges players to battle through waves of modified soldiers and fearsome otherworldly beings. The ultimate goal? To lift an ancient curse that plagues the sprawling megacity. The unique setting and dynamic gameplay promise to deliver a fresh and thrilling experience to fans of the franchise.

In addition to the new installment, the Developer_Direct also showcased a significant remaster of Ninja Gaiden 2, which has already hit the shelves for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, and is readily available in the Game Pass catalog. Team Ninja has masterfully ported this classic to Unreal Engine 5 (UE5), revamping character models, visual effects, and landscapes to create a visually stunning experience.
