Nintendo Japan announced on their website that the general release of the Alarmo, initially slated for February 2025, is postponed indefinitely due to insufficient stock. The announcement doesn't specify if this affects international availability, with a global launch still planned for March 2025.

Currently, Nintendo is offering a pre-order system exclusively for Japanese Nintendo Switch Online members. Pre-orders open in mid-December, with shipments beginning in early February 2025. The exact pre-order start date will be announced separately.

Nintendo's Popular Alarm Clock

Launched globally in October, the Alarmo is an interactive alarm clock featuring iconic music from franchises like Super Mario, Zelda, Pikmin, Splatoon, and Ring Fit Adventure, with more soundtracks promised via future updates.

Its unexpected popularity led to a temporary halt of online orders and a lottery system for remaining stock. The Alarmo quickly sold out in Japanese Nintendo stores and even the New York Nintendo store.
