Which Nintendo Franchise Deserves a LEGO Set the Most in 2025?

The LEGO Nintendo collaborations have already yielded some fantastic sets, including last year's impressive moving Mario and Yoshi set and the first-ever LEGO Legend of Zelda set. However, the current selection mainly focuses on Mario (including Donkey Kong) and Animal Crossing, leaving many other beloved Nintendo franchises unexplored. As a LEGO and Nintendo fan, I yearn for more! Which Nintendo franchise deserves the LEGO treatment next?

With the upcoming Switch 2, anticipation for the next generation of Nintendo games and LEGO sets remains high. The success of the new Mario movie and the potential for a live-action Zelda adaptation suggest continued collaboration. What LEGO Nintendo sets could we realistically see in 2025 and beyond? Personally, I believe a Metroid line would be fantastic. Metroid Prime 4's release presents a perfect opportunity for incredible LEGO builds. Additionally, I'd love to see genuine LEGO Pokémon sets, rather than the existing MEGA sets, though licensing limitations might make this less likely.
