Selected Fans Get Invitations for Nintendo Switch 2 Experience

Nintendo began dispatching invitations on January 27, 2025, to fans who signed up for the global Switch 2 Experience events. Excited attendees shared their invitation emails on Twitter (X).

Event registration ran from January 17, 2025, following the Switch 2 trailer release, until January 26, 2025. A free Nintendo Account was needed to sign up. Nintendo’s website outlined registration rules and key information for selected participants.

Fans not chosen received emails with details about waitlists opening on January 29, 2025, at 4 PM ET / 3 PM CT / 1 PM PT, for potential openings due to cancellations or additional spots.

Nintendo revealed that Switch 2 Experience events will kick off globally from April 4, offering attendees hands-on time with games on the new Nintendo Switch 2.
