"Nolan North Welcomes Troy Baker to PlayStation's Adventure Game Elite"

Bethesda has exciting news for PlayStation 5 owners: MachineGames’ eagerly awaited title, *Indiana Jones and The Great Circle*, will launch on PS5 with early access starting April 15, just ahead of its global release on April 17. Fans who pre-order the game will enjoy this early access perk.

The PS5 release comes four months after the game's initial launch on Xbox and PC. Alongside this announcement, Bethesda released a playful promo trailer featuring two of the most iconic voices in gaming: Troy Baker, who voices Indiana Jones in the game, and Nolan North, best known for portraying Nathan Drake in the *Uncharted* series.

In the trailer, Baker and North engage in a witty conversation that underscores the connection between their characters. Given that the *Uncharted* series draws heavy inspiration from Indiana Jones, their interaction marks a symbolic full circle moment for *Indiana Jones and The Great Circle*.

The trailer cleverly avoids direct references to *Uncharted* or Nathan Drake, respecting Sony's intellectual property, yet North's performance hints at his iconic role. He humorously suggests he "broke into" the ornate room where they're filmed, implying he's on the run from the usual adversaries, adding to the playful banter.

North playfully questions Baker about facing Private Military Forces armed only with a whip. Baker points to his head and says, "use the old—," prompting North to interject with "headbutt." Their exchange continues with North describing himself as "more of a sidearms kinda guy... jeans... henley," while Baker teases that his attire is "somehow always half-tucked."

Both actors share a passion for ancient artifacts, though their motivations differ: North's character would sell them to the highest bidder, while Baker's Indiana Jones aims to donate them to museums. This banter signifies Nathan Drake welcoming Indiana Jones into an elite club of adventurers, with North declaring, "Welcome to the club." This moment signifies the integration of Xbox's Indiana Jones into the PlayStation ecosystem, highlighting the collaboration between Microsoft and Sony.

This release aligns with Microsoft's broader strategy to expand its games to multiple platforms, a move that has seen titles like *Forza Horizon 5* and *Doom: The Dark Ages* also crossing over to rival consoles. *Indiana Jones and The Great Circle* is set to follow suit, with more Microsoft-made games reportedly on the horizon.

Already a hit on Xbox and PC with over 4 million players, thanks to its day-one launch on Game Pass, *Indiana Jones and The Great Circle* is poised for even greater success upon its PS5 debut.

Harrison Ford, the original Indiana Jones, has praised Troy Baker's portrayal of the character in the game. Speaking to The Wall Street Journal, Ford expressed satisfaction with Baker's performance, humorously stating, "You don’t need artificial intelligence to steal my soul. You can already do it for nickels and dimes with good ideas and talent. He did a brilliant job, and it didn’t take AI to do it."
