Norman Reedus Keen on Reprising Role in Death Stranding 2 Movie

Attention all Death Stranding enthusiasts! Exciting news is on the horizon as the sequel, Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, is slated for release in June. The iconic actor Norman Reedus, who stars in the franchise, recently shared some intriguing details about the upcoming game and a future film adaptation during an interview with IGN.

When questioned about potentially playing himself in the film version of the game, which is being developed by Michael Sarnoski and A24, Reedus expressed enthusiasm. "If it was an option, yeah, for sure," he stated. "I don’t know what’s happening with it. It’s so pre pre pre right now. But yeah, of course."

We also delved into Reedus's experience with the first game and his thoughts on the sequel. Despite initial confusion, Reedus expressed a deep trust in the game's creator, Hideo Kojima. "As far as working with him and understanding where his head’s at, I don’t think anybody can understand where his head’s at," he remarked. "He’s just that guy, he’s out there and he’s got great ideas. But story-wise, I did know what was happening more. There’s more action in it, there’s more of a definite goal to get to."

Regardless of the complexities within the Death Stranding universe, Reedus remains thrilled to be part of the journey. "It’s always a trip working on those things," he shared with IGN. "It’s great, but it’s wild."
