However, just a day later, Blizzard announced it would be available for free to Twitch viewers watching a dedicated Overwatch 2 event broadcast for one hour on February 12th.

This revelation angered many players who had already purchased the Cyber DJ skin. This isn't the first time Blizzard has sold cosmetic items only to later offer them for free through promotions, leading to widespread calls for refunds. While the Cyber DJ skin has been removed from the store, Blizzard hasn't yet addressed the refund requests.

In response, Blizzard has announced a special Overwatch 2 Spotlight event on February 12th, promising revolutionary gameplay changes.
