Overwatch 2 Teams Up with LE SSERAFIM Again: New Skins, Emotes, Challenges

Overwatch 2 x LE SSERAFIM Coming This March 18, 2025

Overwatch 2 is thrilled to continue its partnership with LE SSERAFIM, building on the success of their previous collaboration in November 2023, which celebrated the release of LE SSERAFIM's song "Perfect Night." The excitement was confirmed on March 11 through a captivating trailer shared on Twitter (X). The collaboration was initially announced during the Overwatch 2 Spotlight on February 12, highlighting Blizzard's commitment to a second joint venture with the K-pop sensations.

This time around, players can look forward to an array of new skins designed for characters such as Mercy, Juno, D.Va, Ashe, and Illari. Additionally, fans can purchase recolored versions of the skins from the 2023 event, featuring LE SSERAFIM-inspired looks for Kiriko, D.Va, Sombra, Tracer, and Brigitte. However, the Concert Clash mode from the first collaboration will not be making a return, as it was specifically tied to the "Perfect Night" video. Instead, players can earn the Legendary Fawksey James Junkrat skin by completing in-game challenges during the event.

Aimee Denett, Overwatch's Associate Director of Product Management, shared insights with Polygon on March 11 about the upcoming event. "This time around, we wanted to be part of one of the pieces that’s celebrating their new album," Denett stated. She further explained that while there isn't a new song specifically for Overwatch, the team is excited about creating a visualizer for one of the new songs from the album and introducing extensive cosmetics for this collaboration.

The Overwatch 2 and LE SSERAFIM collaboration will run from March 18 to March 31, 2025. To build anticipation, a special Overwatch 2 x LE SSERAFIM Livestream Event is scheduled for March 17, 2025, at 8:30 PM PST on Twitch and YouTube. This livestream will feature members of LE SSERAFIM and offer a closer look at the new skins.
