Palworld Update 0.5.0: Crossplay, Blueprint Upgrades, Photo Mode Added

The latest update for *Palworld*, version 0.5.0, introduces a game-changing feature: crossplay across all platforms, allowing players to enjoy the game together regardless of their device. This monumental update also includes the ability to store Pal data in the Global Palbox, making it easier to transfer Pals between different worlds. The introduction of the Dimensional Pal Storage system, which boasts ten times the capacity of the standard Palbox, offers players unprecedented space for their Pals. This new storage can be accessed by guild members or used privately, giving players flexible storage options.

Adding to the excitement, the update brings a cosmetic armor system that lets players change their character's appearance without impacting armor stats, enhancing personal customization. A new Photo Mode, accessible through the Pal Command Wheel, allows players to capture stunning in-game moments by hiding the UI and freely moving the camera. The addition of a Drafting Table enables players to combine lower-rarity blueprints into higher-rarity ones, enriching the crafting experience. Dedicated servers for Mac users are now available, ensuring a smoother gameplay experience across different platforms.

Developer Pocketpair has announced plans to introduce dedicated servers for the PlayStation 5 version in the future, indicating their commitment to expanding the game's reach. Since its early access launch in January 2024, *Palworld* has attracted an astounding 32 million players. Looking ahead, Pocketpair has outlined a content roadmap for 2025, promising an "ending scenario" and more exciting additions to the creature-catching survival game.

*Palworld* launched on Steam for $30 and was immediately available on Game Pass for Xbox and PC, shattering sales and concurrent player records. The overwhelming success led Pocketpair to form Palworld Entertainment with Sony, aiming to expand the game's intellectual property and bring it to PS5. However, the game's rise has not been without challenges; Nintendo and The Pokémon Company have filed a lawsuit against Pocketpair, alleging infringement on multiple patent rights. In response, Pocketpair has adjusted the mechanics for summoning Pals and is prepared to defend its position in court.

▼Specification Adjustments
・Buildings can now be placed even if they overlap with a Pal
・When connecting foundations or roofs, the connected pieces will now automatically align in the same direction
・Assigning an Ice Pal to the Flea Market will slow down item decay in storage and sales
・Added torches at the entrances of random dungeons for better visibility
・Players can now sit on chairs and cushions
・Some weapons that dealt ultra-high damage to trees will no longer drop items upon destruction

▼Balance Adjustments
・Adjusted elemental chest rewards. Dog Coins will always drop from these chests and they also have a small chance of containing work suitability books. (Existing chests in current worlds will retain old drop tables; new ones will follow the updated table.)
・Increased EXP gained from defeating the Attack Chopper
・Increased the DPS of Flamethrowers
・Adjusted the default attack used by Electric and Dark Pals when all active skills are on cooldown, making them more in line with the other elements
・Some human NPCs now have work suitability and work animations when assigned tasks at a base
・Summoned raid bosses can no longer damage other bases
・Added Water attribute to Dumud
・NPC event rewards have been adjusted. To maintain fairness, all NPC conversation logs have been reset, allowing players to claim rewards again!
