PlayStation Plus Extra members will gain access to eight high-quality titles this month, including *UFC 5*, *Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown*, and *Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions*. It’s also important to note that Sony has confirmed changes coming to PlayStation Plus beginning in January 2026. At that time, PS4 titles will no longer be a core part of the PlayStation Plus Essentials monthly lineup or the Game Catalog, with Sony shifting its focus entirely to PS5-exclusive content.

“As we shift to PS5, PS4 games will no longer be a key benefit and will only be occasionally offered for PlayStation Plus Monthly Games and Game Catalog,” the company stated. Subscribers who have already downloaded PS4 titles will retain access to them even after they rotate out of the catalog, though those titles “will still be available to play until they leave the catalog” during the regular monthly refresh cycle.

Sony emphasized its ongoing commitment to enhancing the PlayStation Plus experience, promising continued improvements to exclusive discounts, online multiplayer access, cloud storage for game saves, and the regular addition of new PS5 titles each month. As the platform evolves, players can expect a more streamlined, next-gen-focused service tailored for the PS5 generation.
