The Steely Resolve event in Pokémon GO, commencing January 21st, marks the highly anticipated arrival of Rookidee, Corvisquire, and Corviknight. This addition significantly expands the Galar region Pokémon roster within the game.

The arrival was subtly foreshadowed in December 2024's Dual Destiny Season loading screen, featuring Rookidee and Corviknight before their official announcement. The event, running from 10 AM on January 21st to 8 PM on January 26th (local time), offers players their first chance to encounter this evolutionary line.

Beyond the new Pokémon, the Steely Resolve event boasts a wealth of activities:

• Dual Destiny Special Research: Unlocking new rewards.
• Field Research Tasks: Providing further opportunities for Pokémon encounters and item acquisition.
• $5 Paid Timed Research: Offering additional event-exclusive content.
• Increased Spawns: Boosted appearance rates for Clefairy, Paldean Wooper, Carbink, and several others (some with shiny possibilities).
• Magnetic Lure Modules: Attracting Pokémon such as Onix, Beldum, Shieldon, and Rookidee.
• Shadow Pokémon Attack Reset: Utilize a Charged TM to remove Frustration from Shadow Pokémon.
• Raids: Featuring one-star raids (Lickitung, Skorupi, Pancham, Amaura), five-star raids (Deoxys, Dialga), and Mega Raids (Mega Gallade, Mega Medicham). Many raid Pokémon have a chance to be shiny.
• 2km Eggs: Offering Shieldon, Carbink, Mareanie, and Rookidee (shiny possibilities).

GO Battle Week: Dual Destiny (January 21st - 26th)

This concurrent event offers significant bonuses for battling:

• 4x Stardust from win rewards.
• Increased daily battle limit: From five to twenty sets (100 battles).
• Free battle-themed Timed Research: Rewarding players with Grimsley-inspired avatar shoes.
• Varied Battle League Pokémon stats: Encountered Pokémon will exhibit a wider range of Attack, Defense, and HP values.

Various Great, Ultra, and Master Leagues will be active throughout the week.
