Pokemon TCG Pocket's Blastoise Wonder Pick Event: Part Two Launches with New Cosmetics

The second phase of the popular Blastoise Wonder Pick event in Pokemon TCG Pocket is now live, bringing a fresh batch of cosmetic rewards. The in-game shop boasts new Blastoise-themed items, including a stylish Blastoise icon, a collectible coin, themed card sleeves, and an eye-catching Blue and Blastoise playmat.

This second part of the event runs until January 22nd, offering players a limited time to earn event tickets. However, the event shop remains open until January 28th, providing a slightly extended window to purchase the new cosmetics using accumulated tickets. Players are encouraged to log in regularly to maximize their chances of obtaining all the items before the ticket distribution ends.

Following a busy holiday period filled with generous login bonuses, the event pace has slowed. Many players have completed the Mythical Island booster pack collection and eagerly anticipate the next expansion, rumored for a late January release. The confirmation that Pack Hourglasses will be usable in future expansions has prompted many to stockpile them.

The new Blastoise cosmetics provide a compelling incentive for daily logins. In addition to the cosmetic items, players can exchange surplus event tickets for Shinedust (50 Shinedust per ticket, up to 1000 Shinedust total).

The first part of the event, which began January 6th, introduced promo cards featuring Squirtle and Charmander with unique artwork. These, along with a Blue and Blastoise backdrop and cover, remain available. New missions tied to Wonder Pick choices, focusing on Fire and Water-type cards, continue to award Event Shop Tickets, with the Bonus Pick offering additional tickets. All missions from both parts are cumulative. Daily logins are crucial for completing these missions and acquiring all items, especially considering the rumored untradability of the promo cards.
