Exciting news for fans of the Girls’ Frontline universe: Project NET, a thrilling new third-person shooter spinoff, has opened its pre-registration phase. Dive into the action and learn how to join the adventure, as well as explore Project NET's connection to the beloved Girls’ Frontline franchise.
The eagerly awaited third-person shooter mobile game, Project NET, has officially kicked off its pre-registration, as announced by the developers on their South East Asian (SEA) Twitter (X) account on March 3, 2025. To secure your spot, simply head over to Project NET's official SEA website and hit the Pre-Register button. You'll need to enter your email address and select your preferred platform, be it iOS or Android. Additionally, the game's pre-registration is also available on the official Russian (RU) website.
In addition to pre-registration, Project NET has launched a "Shock Point Test" beta, with registration announced on the game’s official SEA Twitter (X) account on March 4, 2025. This test is exclusively for players in the Philippines and will be conducted on Android devices. Keep in mind that this is a limited-access, non-monetized test, and all data will be wiped post-test. The Shock Point Test will also be rolled out in Russia, with more information available on their RU website. The developers are hard at work optimizing the game for a broader global release.
The official schedule for the SEA Shock Point Test Recruitment Registration is now available. After completing the recruitment questionnaire, successful applicants can expect to receive their confirmation emails between March 24, 2025, and March 26, 2025. Test qualifications will be distributed throughout the testing period, which is yet to be announced.
Sunborn Network, the masterminds behind the acclaimed mobile game Girls’ Frontline, first unveiled Project NET on December 27, 2024. This new third-person shooter for mobile devices conducted its initial localized test in SEA countries from January 9, 2025, to January 16, 2025, spanning Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
The Girls’ Frontline franchise burst onto the scene in 2016 as a strategy RPG gacha game for mobile platforms, quickly gaining a massive following and spawning an anime series and other spin-offs. The latest addition to the series, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium, hit the market on December 5, 2024. With Project NET rooted in the same universe, fans can look forward to encountering familiar characters and visual styles within the game.
While no official release date has been announced for Project NET, the game is currently set to launch on both iOS and Android, based on the platforms used during its initial test phase.
