Adin Ross Remains Committed to Kick Streaming Platform with "Bigger" Plans

Popular streamer Adin Ross has definitively ended speculation about his future, confirming his intention to remain on the Kick streaming platform long-term. Ross's recent absence from Kick sparked rumors of a potential departure, fueled by his unexplained hiatus in 2024. However, his return last weekend, alongside fellow streamers Cuffem, Shaggy, and Konvy, marked a decisive shift. This comeback, his first livestream in 74 days, solidified his commitment to Kick.

Ross, known for his engaging (and sometimes controversial) streams, joined Kick after a permanent ban from Twitch in 2023. His move, along with other prominent streamers like xQc, significantly contributed to Kick's rapid growth. While he enjoyed success on the platform throughout 2023, his sudden departure in 2024 created uncertainty. Reports of conflict with Kick CEO Ed Craven circulated, but a December 21, 2024 livestream with Craven confirmed Ross's continued involvement. A subsequent tweet reinforced this commitment, assuring fans he would "stay for good this time."

Beyond his return, Ross hinted at "something even bigger" on the horizon. While specifics remain undisclosed, many speculate this relates to his Brand Risk boxing events. These events, previously mentioned as a key expansion project with Kick's support, faced legal challenges earlier in 2024. Future Brand Risk endeavors will hopefully avoid similar setbacks.

Ross's decision is positive news for both his fanbase and Kick. The platform, fueled by partnerships with high-profile streamers, is aggressively pursuing its ambitious goal—to either surpass or acquire Twitch, a goal that, given its current momentum, seems increasingly attainable, according to co-founder Bijan Tehrani.
