Unlocking Astro Bot's Lost Galaxy: A Comprehensive Guide to Finding All 10 Hidden Portals

Astro Bot Rescue Mission offers players dozens of explorable worlds, but a hidden tenth world, the Lost Galaxy, remains elusive. Access to this secret area is granted only by discovering ten cleverly concealed portals scattered throughout the game's main levels. This guide details the location and method for finding each one. Look for a swirling icon next to a level's selection screen; its presence indicates a hidden portal within that stage.

Portal Locations & Access Methods:

1. Az-Tech Trail:

Mid-level, locate a dark room with a torch-lit wall. Use the Twin-Frog Gloves to extinguish all four torches; the wall will then reveal the portal.

2. Creamy Canyon:

Early in the level, past a bouncing ladybug, grab the charging pig. Swing it towards the icy statue, destroying it. Backtrack, leap over the ladybug, and perform a charged spin attack on the newly accessible platform to uncover the portal.

3. Go-Go Archipelago:

After defeating Captain Pincher, locate his claw embedded in the ground. A glowing light indicates a spot for a charged spin attack, revealing a hidden room containing the portal.

4. Downsize Surprise:

Near the level's end, find a bubble-blowing frog. Use the controller's breath function to inflate the bubbles, shrink, and ride one to a higher branch. Jump to the opposite branch to find the portal.

5. Free Big Brother!:

At the level's start, turn around and lure the electric enemy to electrocute the platforms, revealing the portal behind.

6. Bathhouse Battle:

Locate the house with a flaming chimney. Absorb water, climb the roof, extinguish the flames, and descend the chimney to find the portal.

7. Hieiroglitch Pyramid:

At the level's end, a bounce pad near falling jewels leads to a hidden area. Activate a trap and locate two hidden switches to open the pathway to the portal.

8. Balloon Breeze:

Acquire the pufferfish power-up. Backtrack to an early area with a ladybug and a distant platform. Use the ladybug to reach the platform, activate the pufferfish, hover, and use motion controls to clear bamboo obscuring the portal. Activate it by circling its perimeter.

9. Djinny of the Lamp:

After defeating Djinny, climb the glowing ruins, utilizing Astro's hover ability to reach invisible platforms. Ride an unfurled rug to the final platform containing the portal.

10. Frozen Meal:

Before the boss fight, roll a snowball into a large ball and use it as a platform to reach the cliffside area, revealing the final portal.
