Surreal Generational Tale Seedsow Lullaby Released

Seedsow Lullaby, a new visual novel from Aniplex, has launched worldwide on Android. The Japanese studio, renowned for titles like Adabana Odd Tales, presents a time-bending narrative spanning three generations of a single family.

Seedsow Lullaby Delivers an Emotional Experience

The story explores profound themes of family bonds. It follows Misuzu, a 16-year-old girl who lost her mother early in life. In 2023, her mother Yoko—somehow still 16 years old—appears before her, having time-traveled from 1996. Yoko explains they’ve been chosen for the Seedsow Ceremony, a divine ritual to prevent True Winter, a malevolent force corrupting the gods' realm.

Soon after, Misuzu finds herself transported to 2050, where she meets Tsumugi, her future daughter, also 16. They’re accompanied by Hiruko, a mysterious boy claiming to be Yoko’s unborn son and Misuzu’s brother. The trio must perform the ceremony in the Eternal Realm, a breathtaking divine world filled with vibrant landscapes—the heart of Seedsow Lullaby’s enchanting setting.

A Cinematic Visual Novel Experience

Seedsow Lullaby shines through its storytelling and artistic direction. The beautifully illustrated backgrounds and character movements create an immersive, film-like experience reminiscent of Japanese animation. Though structured as a visual novel, the game offers no branching paths—an intentional design to deliver a focused narrative.
