Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is gearing up for launch, boasting the largest roster in series history and innovative gameplay mechanics. Learn about the exciting features and upcoming closed network test.

An Unprecedented Roster

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Character Showcase

Sega and Sonic Team are collaborating to deliver a kart racing experience unlike any other. While the full roster remains under wraps (though rumored to include 23 characters at launch, with more to come), the revealed lineup is impressive. Expect to see fan favorites like Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy, alongside characters from Sonic Riders, the Deadly Six, Team Dark, the Chaotix, and more, including Blaze, Silver, Cream, and Big.

Dynamic Racing with CrossWorlds

Prepare for a revolutionary racing experience. Travel Rings will teleport racers between diverse CrossWorlds, each offering unique environments, obstacles, and surprises. These dynamic worlds, inspired by Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, will transform the track throughout each race, demanding adaptability and strategic thinking. Expect 24 main tracks and 15 CrossWorlds to explore.

Customization and Power-Ups

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds offers extensive vehicle customization, allowing players to personalize their rides with various parts, colors, and glows. The game also features 23 gadgets to enhance gameplay, along with the return of Extreme Gear from Sonic Riders, providing hoverboard-based racing. With 45 unique vehicles, players will have ample choices to find their perfect racing style. Sonic Creative Officer Takashi Iizuka describes the game as a "great culmination" of previous Sonic Racing titles.

Closed Network Test: Register Now!

A closed network test is scheduled for PlayStation 5, offering a sneak peek at the game's features. Registration is open from February 12th to 19th, 2025, with the test running from February 21st to 24th, 2025. Completing a post-test survey will earn participants an exclusive in-game sticker and title.
