"Stalker 2: Acquire the Unique Cavalier Rifle"

In *Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl*, the variety of weapons caters to all kinds of playstyles, and among these, you can find unique, named variants with special modifications or increased power. One such standout is the Cavalier, a sniper rifle equipped with a red-dot sight rather than a traditional magnification scope, making it exceptionally effective at short to medium range. Here’s your guide to acquiring this exceptional weapon.

How to Get the Unique Cavalier Rifle in Stalker 2

To secure the Cavalier Sniper Rifle, head to the Military Unit within the Duga base in *Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl*. The rifle is located inside a warehouse connected to a greenhouse. If you've previously visited the Duga base for the Journalist stash, you'll find entering through the second entrance straightforward.

Getting Inside the Warehouse Near the Military Unit of Duga Base

Upon entering the Duga base, navigate to the Military Unit building as indicated on your map. Instead of entering the building, move around it to reach the greenhouse at the back. Exercise caution as two Pseudogiants patrol the area and will attack upon detection. Approach the greenhouse carefully to avoid confrontation with these formidable creatures.

Once inside the greenhouse, you'll find yourself in the warehouse. Be prepared for multiple swarms of rats that will immediately begin to drain your health. To evade them, climb onto the elevated green platforms at the back of the warehouse. A well-placed grenade can effectively clear the rat swarms.

Break the Wooden Boards & Grab the Cavalier Rifle

After dealing with the rats, look up towards the ceiling above the entryway connecting to the greenhouse. You'll notice wooden boards painted yellow. Use your weapon to shoot these boards, causing the Cavalier sniper rifle to fall from above.

Retrieve the weapon and make a safe exit from the Duga base. For further enhancement, take the Cavalier to Screw, the technician at Rostok base. With its high damage and excellent accuracy, the Cavalier can be further optimized with upgrades and modifications. Ideal for players who prefer a scope-free sniping experience, the Cavalier's red-dot sight makes it a formidable choice for close to medium-range engagements.
