As someone who grew up in the ‘90s, The Next Generation (airing 1987–1994 and widely rerun) remains my top Star Trek series. While Deep Space Nine and Strange New Worlds are fantastic, and the original series is iconic, Captain Picard will always be my leader. The crew—Data, Troi, Worf, Riker, Geordi, Beverly, and even Wesley Crusher—is unforgettable. Even the early, sometimes campy seasons hold a special place, like a cozy throwback to simpler times.

For full Star Trek access, Paramount+ offers a wealth of content beyond this franchise. However, I prefer owning my favorite shows and movies in physical or digital form to avoid depending on subscriptions or internet access.
