Saber Interactive has firmly stated that all of its previously announced games are still actively in development, despite the lack of updates on high-profile projects like the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR) remake. Following the recent announcement of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3, Saber's Chief Creative Officer, Tim Willits, took to Twitter to reassure fans that the studio is diligently working on all its announced titles.
"Saber Interactive is one of the largest independent developers in the world," Willits emphasized. "We are working on numerous games across many different genres. Everything that we have talked about is still in development. We will share information on upcoming games when we have something cool to share."

The most notable project mentioned by Willits is the KOTOR remake, which has been shrouded in mystery since its announcement in 2021. This long-awaited title has undergone multiple development changes, seemingly halted and restarted, yet after four years, it has yet to see the light of day.
In April 2024, Saber Interactive CEO Matthew Karch confirmed that the KOTOR project was taken with them during their split from Embracer Group and remains in active development. "It's clear and it's obvious that we're working on this," Karch stated at the time. "It's been in the press numerous times. What I will say is that the game is alive and well, and we're dedicated to making sure we exceed consumer expectations."
Willits' recent statement, nearly a year after Karch's comments, reaffirms the ongoing development of the KOTOR remake. However, fans are still left without any new visuals or updates beyond the initial announcement video.
In addition to the KOTOR remake, Saber Interactive is also working on several other titles, including John Carpenter's Toxic Commando and Jurassic Park Survival, both slated for release in 2025, though specific dates have not been announced. The studio is also developing a new Turok game and an untitled Avatar: The Last Airbender project.
With the addition of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 to their lineup, Saber Interactive continues to expand its portfolio. For more details on what to expect from Space Marine 3, including potential chapters and enemy factions, be sure to check out IGN's comprehensive article.
