Stardew Valley Mobile Update Arrives in November

Stardew Valley's highly anticipated 1.6 update finally arrives on mobile devices! Console and mobile players can rejoice as the massive update launches on November 4th, 2024, following its March 2024 PC debut.

What's New in Stardew Valley 1.6 Mobile?

This update significantly expands the game's features. Online multiplayer now supports up to eight players, doubling the previous capacity for collaborative farming, building, and fishing adventures. Two exciting fishing festivals—the Trout Derby and SquidFest—join the seasonal event lineup, alongside the Desert Festival.

A fresh farm layout, the Meadowlands Farm, offers ample space for livestock and convenient fishing opportunities. Enhanced social interaction is provided through over 100 new NPC dialogues, deepening player connections with the town's inhabitants.

A plethora of new items enhances gameplay. These include the spacious Big Chest, a practical dehydrator for preserving produce, a heavy-duty furnace, and a convenient bait maker for targeted fishing.

Customization options abound with new furniture styles and over 25 stylish hats. Players can now collect prize tickets from quests and festivals, redeemable at a prize machine in Lewis's house.

Multiple pet ownership is now possible after maximizing your initial pet's affection. These pets may even bring gifts, and you can now accessorize them with hats. Additionally, NPCs will sport winter attire.

A golden Joja parrot assists in locating elusive golden walnuts on Ginger Island. New crops include carrots, summer squash, broccoli, powdermelon, and two giant crop varieties.

Reasons for the Delay

The delayed mobile and console release allowed the developers to thoroughly test the update on PC, ensuring a smoother launch and minimizing bugs. November's release promises an enhanced experience.
