⚫︎ SHIFT UP, the creative force behind Stellar Blade, and JND Studios have opened pre-orders for hyper-realistic 1/3 scale figures of EVE and Tachy. The Dual version, priced at $3,599, sold out in minutes, while limited stock remains for the individual EVE figure at $2,199. These stunning collectibles are slated for release in Q3 2026.

April 9

⚫︎ JND Studios, in collaboration with Shift-Up, will bring to life hyper-realistic figurines of Stellar Blade's protagonist Eve and the formidable eighth boss Tachy. Announced in July 2024, the figures were confirmed on April 8, 2025, and are expected to be available later this year.

February 12

⚫︎ During the recent State of Play, Shift Up revealed that Stellar Blade will expand to PC in June 2025. Alongside this announcement, the studio confirmed the release of the Goddess of Victory: Nikke DLC in the same month, which includes a new boss battle, collectible dolls and stickers, and an exclusive outfit.

January 6

⚫︎ To celebrate the new year, Shift Up Studio gifted each employee a PlayStation 5 Pro and a collective monetary bonus of ¥1,000,000 (about $32,000). This generous gesture follows the successful 2023 launch of Stellar Blade, their first console game on PlayStation 5, which garnered positive reviews, robust sales, and numerous nominations at The Game Awards.

⚫︎ Stellar Blade's protagonist Eve clinched the Best New Character award at the PlayStation Blog's Game of the Year 2024 Awards. Eve outshone competitors like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s Jane Harrow, Dragon Age: The Veilguard’s Emmrich Volkarin, and Rise of the Rōnin’s Ryoma Sakamoto, while notable write-in mentions included Metaphor: ReFantazio’s Strohl, Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail’s Wuk Lamat, and Helldivers 2’s General Brasch.

⚫︎ Starting December 17, 2024, Stellar Blade players can enjoy a holiday event in Xion, featuring festive decorations in the city square and The Last Gulp gathering hall. The event includes new BGM tracks “Dawn (Winter)” and “Take Me Away,” creating a soothing atmosphere, and introduces a holiday-themed mini-game with rewards.

November 26

⚫︎ Shift Up has rolled out a patch addressing issues from the Stellar Blade x Nier Automata update. The update, which added Nier Automata-themed cosmetics and a new Photo Mode, caused unexpected crashes and missing costumes. The patch improves Photo Mode stability and restores any missing Nier Automata outfits.

⚫︎ On November 11, 2024, Shift Up's technical director Donki Lee announced two significant updates for Stellar Blade. A free update (version 1.009.001) added four new outfits, one accessory, expanded lip-sync support, and a new photo mode. Additionally, the first paid DLC, a crossover with NieR: Automata, was confirmed, reflecting the influence of Automata on the project and described as a collaboration of mutual respect and creativity.

⚫︎ Despite high fan expectations, Stellar Blade did not make the cut for the Game of the Year at The Game Awards. This sparked discussions on social media, particularly given the nomination of Elden Ring's DLC.
